Document Production Hubs - the future of document delivery
CPX Member, Groupe Diffusion Plus, announce the creation of a new Document Production Hub subsidiary, Alliance One, to deliver both current and future document solutions for businesses and their customers.
From design to distribution, businesses must satisfy customers in relation to segmented audiences requiring personalised and real-time information.
To meet these new challenges, Groupe Diffusion Plus is creating a new subsidiary, Alliance One, following the takeover of the Canon France Business Services publishing site Saint-Ouen, the former internal publishing site of BNP PARISBAS Personal Finance.
This new alliance marks an important step in the development of the Diffusion Plus Group and responds to a change in the desktop publishing market.
The management of companies' documentation for their customers is subject to various constraints, including:
The multiplication of communication channels used by audiences, including digital natives and more traditional, less sophisticated users
The great disparity of points of contact with the rise of smartphones and tablets,• The need to react in real time to information disseminated on social networks
More stringent regulations in terms of data management but also traceability and reliability of document management processes
The need to embrace dematerialization and equal access to information
The “Document Production Hub” is the answer for a market undergoing structural change.
More and more companies are well aware that they are unable to support investment and internalise document production that is reliable, cost-effective and secure. This is why they seek to rely on partners who can design Document Production Hubs that meet all of their challenges. The advantages of a hub helps to minimise risks by:
The concatenation of different information flows and their consolidation using heterogeneous data processing
The provision of a unified document and asset repository easily exploitable on all its media and by all its teams and structures
The pooling of all its documentation in a secure storage point accessible anywhere 24/7
Single-point preparation, production and packaging that guarantees the highest standards of quality and traceability
Easy and interchangeable broadcast in multichannel mode (Print, digital or combination of both) and mobile (for the distribution of documents in a format adapted to smartphones).
The creation of Alliance One came about following the call for tenders launched in June 2018 by the BNPP Group, which wanted to outsource its publishing activities. Canon France and Groupe Diffusion Plus then decided to conclude a partnership agreement through which they won the tender at the end of 2018. The acquisition of the Canon France Business Services (CFBS) production site in Saint-Ouen by Groupe Diffusion Plus extends the dynamics of the site.
"This project is first and foremost the result of a good meeting with William Meriel, Chairman of Groupe Diffusion Plus, and his teams. We have been working with its Data One subsidiary for more than 20 years, and I am pleased that the call for tenders that we have jointly answered to the BNPP Group has strengthened our links, leading to this great project" says Patrick Chapuis, President of Canon France.
"We are proud and happy to welcome all CFBS Saint-Ouen employees to this new Alliance One subsidiary", explains Loïc Lefebvre, Development Director of Groupe Diffusion Plus, who led this external growth operation with his teams. . He adds, "Whether it's DocOne in 2015, EDEP Conseil and COGESER in 2018, our acquisitions are always made with a Customer Centric approach, working with our customers and in their interest. Our DNA is to be always in action on the market and to move forward in a measured way, co-constructing with our customers, partners and sometimes even our colleagues. Alliance One is the result of a remarkable synergy with Canon and the BNPP Group".
After Gaillon (27), Bordeaux (33) and Toulouse (31), the Diffusion Plus Group will now also be present in the "production of transactional output" in Paris.
Alliance One enables Groupe Diffusion Plus to continue to grow in terms of offering high value-added services capable of rapidly adapting its offerings to the volatile constraints of the market. The Alliance also promotes the maintenance of employment on the site.
Finally, it meets contractors demand for a solution that combines continuous innovation, reliability and excellent value for money.
